SPECIES WE CAN CATCH DURING YOUR TRIP

STRIPED BASS

Picture
This prized fish is caught from May thru November. While the world record (caught in the LI Sound) is over 80lbs, most of the stripers we catch range between 12-40lbs.

BLUEFISH

Picture
Can be caught throughout our boating season. They put up a great fight and if properly handled are delicious to eat. See our recipe section for Philippe's marinated Bluefish sashimi.

FLUKE

Picture
The best fluking on Long Island takes place on the North Fork early in the season and we will catch them throughout the summer.

PORGIES

Picture
Fun to catch, great for kids and anglers of all ages.  Pound for pound they may be the hardest fighting fish.  When filleted correctly (we do it for you) they have no bones and are extremely tasty.

WEAKFISH

Picture
AKA seatrout, these colorful and illusive fish are caught in the bays of the North Fork

SEABASS

Picture
One of our best eating fish, the season extends from late June thru December.

BLACKFISH

Picture
Can only be kept from October thru December- due to the potential for rough weather only the most hearty fishermen will take these late season trips. Well worth it for the fight and the dinner to follow.
